Job campaign: Complete five lawns to unlock the full board. Gold-ringed grass marks the requested pattern. Coverage is the percentage of those marked patches you cut as they pass. Some jobs also need a score or a maximum number of bumps. Read each briefing before you start.
Bronze completes a job. Silver needs extra coverage or points and no more than two bumps. Gold needs 90% coverage where required, 35% above the score target where required, and zero bumps. Medals and unlocks save separately for Easy, Standard, and Expert. Replay any unlocked job with either tool.
Quick play: The original 60-second score challenge is always available. Sprinkler Shift and County Showcase: cycling sprinklers only cause a bump while blue water is spraying.
Move up and down between the three lawn strips. Your tool cuts the grass automatically as the yard scrolls past.
- Mower: a wide cutting deck trims all three rows of grass in a strip for 3 points per tuft. It moves at a steady pace.
- Trimmer: changes strips faster and has a smaller obstacle hitbox. Each tuft is worth 5 points. Follow the top and bottom strips to cut two rows and earn precision points.
- Avoid rocks, flowers, and sprinklers. A bump costs 15 points and briefly slows you down. You can always finish your run.
- Collect orange energy packs: double grass points for four seconds. These are fictional arcade boosts.
- Choose your pace: Easy has fewer obstacles; Expert moves faster and adds more obstacles.
